Join NVBA and our partner A.E.R.O. (Animal Education and Rescue Organization) for an afternoon full of bird-related educational sessions. With Spring Migration in full-swing, we want everyone to be prepared the next time they find an injured or lost bird!

This morning program will include:

  1. Bird Identification Lecture: Join NVBA to learn how to identifiy common backyard birds in our Northern Virginia and how to spot their unique behaviors.

  2. Common Injuries & Baby Bird Care Presentation: Be prepared the next time you find an injured or lost bird.

  3. Introduction to International Dark Skies Week: Presented by Olivia Lobalbo from A.E.R.O. This session will provide an overview of the most common reasons songbirds come into rehab and the basics of baby bird care.

Registration for this event is required. This program's proceeds will be split between AERO and NVBA. Any event questions should be sent via email and to addressed to Amanda at info@nvbirdalliance.org .
