Classes, Workshops, Bird Outings and More from NVBA
NVBA offers classes, workshops, events, bird outings, counts and surveys to our members and to the general public. Our goal is to spread awareness and understanding of the birds and habitats of our region and inspire our community to enjoy and protect them - and spread the word!

Online Class and Event Policies:
Registration closes two hours before an event starts. Please register early!
Cancellation and refund policy: please let us know as soon as possible if you are not able to attend an event and we'll gladly issue a refund. Most of our virtual programs are recorded and shared with participants who purchased a ticket. Free programs are shared on our Online Programs page for all to watch at no cost. If you're not able to attend the live event, you can still watch them from the comfort of your home at your convenience.

Volunteers are the lifeblood of our organization. Your time and enthusiasm power our conservation and educational outreach efforts, both in the field and behind the scenes, helping us do more for birds, wildlife and habitat in northern Virginia.
