Description:
Join us for a Fall Bird Walk at beautiful Ellanor C. Lawrence Park, a 650-acre bird oasis in western Fairfax County. On this walk, you'll have the opportunity to explore the park’s diverse habitats with your guide, Robin Duska.
Meetup Information:
Guests will meet Robin at 8:00 AM outside the Walney Visitor Center, near the parking lots. Parking is limited, we encourage participants to carpool if possible.
About Your Guide:
Robin is a Fairfax Master Naturalist and was recognized by the Virginia Master Naturalist state board as the 2020 Volunteer of the Year for her outstanding contributions to natural resource education, conservation, citizen science, and stewardship. Robin is an experienced bird guide with an abundance of knowledge to share.

Between the facilities, exhibits, and abundant nature trails, Ellanor C. Lawrence Park offers something for everyone to enjoy! Restrooms, educational exhibits, and additonal park information can be found inside the Walney Visitor Center, which was originally a farmhouse from the 1780s.
