Classes, Workshops and Events
Butterflies usually live for only a few weeks as adults, but they make quite an impression while they are in their full glory. Larry Meade will walk us through common butterfly species in our area and help us differentiate some of the trickier look-a-like species.
What's in a name? Join us for a virtual discussion with biologist Leeanna Pletcher all about bird names.
Join us for this special author event! In his newest book, The Return of the Oystercatcher: Saving Birds to Save the Planet, best-selling author and researcher Scott Weidensaul shows why we should never underestimate the resiliency of birds, and why creating a world that works for birds will work for everything, including us.
