We're thrilled to announce the launch of NVBA’s first annual Calendar Photo Contest. Showcase your favorite shots while supporting conservation right here in northern Virginia.
To enter, submit your favorite photos of birds (plus insects and native plants) taken in northern Virginia. We’ll feature the top 13 photos, chosen by votes by your friends, family and our NVBA community. Because you’ll vote with your dollars, the competition will fund our critical conservation work.
How It Works
Submit your photos – Enter your best bird photographs from northern Virginia ($10 per photo)
Rally your supporters – Share your photo page with friends, family, and fellow birders
Vote and donate – Each $1 donation equals 1 vote (minimum 5 votes per transaction)
Win recognition – Top 13 photos will be featured in our 2026 calendar, and all participants will have a chance to be celebrated at our January Alliance Afternoon.
